'It is not possible to see more beautiful fields; there is not a gorge of soil which is not worked to perfection, prepared for sowing. The forage grows there luxuriantly, and seems to find in these soils all the conditions required for it to flourish. In the second year they sow broad beans for the horses, for oats do not grow here.
