Vacation in architectural monuments combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the ‘Vacation in architectural monuments’ foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.

The Schlossgut Münchenwiler is a historic house, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and may be a potential source of danger. The tenant is aware of these circumstances. The owner, e-domizil and the foundation Vacation in architectural monuments decline any liability.
