What to eat at the grotto? Ticino cuisine, which is rooted in the pre-Alpine tradition, is characterised by recipes with simple and tasty flavours, but above all by the use of local products. In addition to numerous typical Ticino products such as wine, beer, grappa, nocino, gazzosa, chestnuts and various cheeses, it boasts unique products such as cicitt, farina bóna and Vallemaggia pepper.
