The gîte is only half an hour's drive from the sea, yet 20 km as the crow flies from the Canigou mountain, whose summit can be seen from the estate. It is surrounded by a forest of cork oaks, and the beautiful river Saint Amans flows below. The estate offers plenty of opportunities for walks through a wide variety of landscapes. It's the ideal place for those who want to be lulled by birdsong and discover the wildlife, while staying in a carefully maintained environment. Our main farmhouse and the old 18th-century forge that we offer as a gîte have the poetic charm of ancient stone. We also grow delicious fruit and vegetables in our permaculture garden, which we use to prepare gourmet dishes (on request).
The swimming pool (over 50 m3) is for the private use of guests (sun loungers, beds, etc.). A beautifully flowered private terrace with table and chairs surrounds the building. Parking is available directly opposite the property entrance.
A former 18th century forge has been lovingly renovated and transformed into a superb loft. The private infinity pool offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. A large stone-paved terrace is available for exclusive use, where you can relax or enjoy lunch amongst the flowers, while the 15 hectares of the estate offer the spectacle of unspoilt nature. You will find all modern comforts and an organic and gourmet catering service using produce from the garden. Accommodation for two adults and two children. Childcare equipment available on loan (pushchairs, bouncers, cot, toys, rubber rings, etc.) The charming setting is also ideal for a romantic getaway.
The fifteen-hectare property is ideal for walks through the cork oak forest or the garrigue, along the Saint Amans river. Breathtaking views of the Canigou peak and the coastline.

We live in the main Mas, just a few steps from the gîte, and will be delighted to make your stay as comfortable as possible: laundry service on request, exotic or Mediterranean meals prepared using organic produce from our garden (we can easily adapt to special requests: vegan meals, gluten-free meals, Indian meals, slimming meals, etc.) A car is essential to reach our property.
