To make it easier to find us: the village is signposted as Kunstort Glashagen on all access roads. This 69 sqm holiday flat (renovated in 2020) for non-smokers is located on the first floor. It can accommodate a maximum of 3 people and a baby under 2 years old. This two-room flat has:- 1 spacious bathroom with WC, bathtub with shower and washing machine,- 1 combined living room/bedroom with a bed, wardrobe, chest, table, smart TV, WiFi and sofa. A doorless passageway connects this room with the kitchen (kettle, cooker, fridge and freezer, toaster, coffee machine and other standard kitchen appliances),- 1 bedroom with double bed, table, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. So that the flat is not overloaded, some equipment, such as hoover - fan - etc. are stored separately. Ask us, so it will be provided immediately. The property includes a pottery, a tea house and a large park with the works of 70 artists and Germany's largest stone circle. You will also find other artistic workshops and a practice for alternative healing methods in the immediate vicinity. It is possible to book a course in the pottery. We love old furniture. This gives the rooms an individual flair, which is emphasised by the natural wooden floorboards. If you are travelling with a small child, a baby cot and a high chair can be provided. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, about 4 km south of Bad Doberan, in the middle of a sculptural end moraine landscape and on an 85 metre high hill, there is a small settlement that has long attracted artists, healers and those seeking peace and quiet - the district of Glashagen Ausbau. A section of the Pilgrims' Way of St James leads directly past our property and not far away, the well-known Glashagen spring rises in a valley. Just a few kilometres northwest of Bad Doberan, directly on the Baltic Sea, lies the small "white town" of Heiligendamm, Germany's oldest seaside spa. Between Bad Doberan and Heiligendamm is the oldest German racecourse - for many years also the venue of the well-known Zappanale. The seaside resorts of Warnemünde to the east and Kühlungsborn to the west are both around 15 km away from Bad Doberan and therefore also from our property - and can be reached quite quickly by car on the L12 spa road itself or by bike on the Baltic Sea long-distance cycle path.
