The holiday house 'Salto del Corvo' is situated on the hill of Mascali(about 600 metres above sea level), in the hamlet of Puntalazzo, 10 minutes by car from the sea, 20 minutes from Taormina, along the road leading to Etna.
The panoramic terrace overlooks a vast stretch of sea from Riposto to Taormina-Giardini Naxos and on clear days the coast of Calabria is perfectly visible.
The cottage is an old rural building with an adjoining 'palmento' restored using materials such as chestnut wood, lava stone, and Sicilian roof tiles characteristic of Etna's rural buildings. The rural building has a sleeping area, a large living room with a large kitchen, a characteristic stone oven and a fireplace. The sleeping area has a double bed. There is also a sofa bed for one person in the large hall. The adjoining palmento sleeps four in total. In the lower area there are two single beds and in the upper area a double bed. In addition, the palmento is equipped with hot/cold air conditioning.
The surrounding land, about 5000 metres, is cultivated with vines, olive and fruit trees and, for most of the year, it is possible to taste the wine, oil and fruit jams produced on the estate.
