The villa consists of two flats with independent entrances: Aretusa and Alfeo. Both apartments are equipped with parking, Wi-Fi and share a common garden, sea view terrace and barbecue for your barbecues. The Aretusa flat can accommodate a large group thanks to its three double bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace and bathroom. The Alfeo Apartment is designed for a romantic stay for couples or a pleasant family holiday. It is conceived as a modern open space with a large living room with an open kitchen and a double bedroom in the centre. It is also equipped with a sofa bed and two cots that can accommodate the whole family. Villa Vera's excellent location facilitates excursions to the many beauties of the Syracuse province, rich in history, culture and traditions. Just a few kilometres away is the island of Ortigia, where, strolling through its narrow, characteristic streets, you will find the Temple of Apollo, Piazza Archimede, the Fountain of Artemis, Piazza Duomo, the Cathedral, the Arethusa Fountain, the Alfeo seafront, Maniace Castle, the Hypogeum and the Jewish Quarter with its purification baths. Also just a few kilometres away among the countless beaches are: The Nature Reserve of Cassibile, a natural area of about 2760 hectares rich in vegetation where one of the major rivers of south-eastern Sicily (Cassibile River) passes, which over the millennia has carved out a canyon that reaches up to 250 metres in certain stretches, but above all to form small lakes (Cava Grande) ideal for a nice swim in a fantastic natural setting. Vendicari Nature Reserve an area of about 1500 hectares of unspoilt nature between Noto and Pachino. It is an internationally important wildlife site, thanks to the presence of marshes, useful for the life of migratory birds from Africa that stop here before resuming their journey. And among the many beaches is Cala Mosche, which a few years ago Legambiente awarded it the title of 'Italy's most beautiful beach'. Plemmirio Nature Reserve with its 12 kilometres of coastline divided into 35 passages with different geophysical characteristics. Pantalica UNESCO site where, in addition to a paradisiacal and unspoilt nature, there are necropolis (with over 5000 tombs) and the ruins of the villages of the ancient inhabitants of Sicily. Amongst the towns and cities not far away we find baroque Noto, Avola, Marzamemi, San Lorenzo, Ragusa Modica, Punta Secca (Landscapes of Commissioner Montalbano), Catania, Taormina, Giardini Naxos and many other wonderful places in Sicily.
