The associated holiday village has a 50,000 square metre lake, a playground, volleyball court, football pitch, bicycle hire and a cosy little restaurant. The house is only about 150 metres from the dyke and only 50 metres from the inland lake. The Eckwarderhörne lido is about 800 metres away and, in addition to the beach hall and the lighthouse, also offers a ferry landing stage to Wilhelmshaven and the starting point for guided mudflat walks with Matthias Schulz.
